Abstract

The article is presenting the main recommendation for attestation of traditional products in Romania and EU and important aspects regarding the campaigns for information and promoting the agro food products in EU and outside of EU. These campaigns are fnanced by the EU annually and are designed to highlight the quality, nutritional value and safety of agricultural products and foodstuffs in the EU. They also serve to reveal the intrinsic features and advantages of EU products, such as specifc methods of production, labeling, animal welfare and environment. From more than 1000 registered products in the EU Journal as PDO, IGP or TSG we can fnd only one Romanian product that is Magiunul de Topoloveni.
