Abstract

This text deals with forms of electronic commerce present in agribusiness sector and advantages that e-communications can bring to agricultural producers. The Internet and e-commerce provides a window of opportunity for improving the marketing of agricultural export in developing countries and transition economies. E-commerce application in agriculture sector can generate significant benefits for producers in terms of reduced transaction costs, expended market reach and higher export income. In domestic economy ecommerce is still not applied in a proper way and many preconditions should be fulfiled such as telecommunication infrastructure development, education and higher awarens of ICT ponentials and creation of proper legal enviroment.
