Abstract

In the history of Vojvodinas cooperative movement, relationships between farmers and agricultural cooperatives were changeable. Importance of agricultural cooperatives for farmers is proved accros rich tradition of cooperative movement, which is present in our region for more than 150 years.

Farmers basic goal was always to improve their production and income through cooperation, but they often didn't achive that, mainly because of restrictive state policy.

Resolving some of the subjective and objective farmer's promblems in doing bussiness through cooperatives, would help them achieve better results, become more competitive, and improve the living standard in rural areas.
